Auditioning With NBW Players
NBW Players is a school organization, so you have to be a New Berlin West Student to audition for one of our shows which are students grades 7th thru 12th. If there is an exception to this rule, such as a show needs elementary aged children, the audition below will specify.
There are other opportunities for children in the community to be involved if you are not a West student such as the Theater Skills Camp that takes place in the summer as well as the Summer Workshop run by our friends at West Community Youth Theater.

Sherlock Holmes Elementary Auditions
Tuesday March 17th | 4:30pm to 6pm
Middle School Spring Play
Grades 3rd, 4th, 5th, or 6th
Our Middle School Play this year is a fun story about the Baker Street Irregulars who are young street children who help the famous Sherlock Holmes on his mystery cases in London. We will be doing accents for this production, but you do not have to audition in an accent. I may ask you to try at the audition though, so be prepared.
CHARACTER LIST
(We are looking for two elementary students, two girls or one boy and one girl, if we cast two girls one of them will portray YOUNG WIGGINS who is a boy)
Kid/Teen Roles
ASH (F): The youngest girl with sooty hands
YOUNG WIGGINS (M): The younger version of the young man with an intellect
MAYOR'S DAUGHTER (F): The young daughter of the Mayor who was kidnapped
What to Prepare:
Headshot - Bring a printed Headshot of yourself stabled to the front of the Audition Form
Audition Form - Print out the Audition Form and fill it out completely.
Sides - At the audition we will be reading some sides (scenes from the show) with the other members of the cast, you can familiarize yourself with the sides ahead of time with the link below
